Description
A collection of three philatelic numismatic covers issued by the Royal Mint and Royal Mail. The group includes a 1999 A Parliament for Scotland cover featuring an inset Scottish one pound coin, four Scottish-themed postage stamps, and circular cancellations from Edinburgh dated 1 July 1999. Also present is a 1984 Brilliant Uncirculated Scottish One Pound Coin first day of issue cover, featuring a full-colour coat of arms with the motto Nemo Me Impune Lacessit and a Royal Mint Llantrisant cancellation dated 24 April 1984. The final item is a 1985 First Day of Issue Welsh One Pound Coin cover, featuring a nickel-brass coin with the Welsh leek design and a Royal Mint Llantrisant cancellation dated 22 April 1985. The covers are constructed of card and paper with inset brilliant uncirculated base metal coins.
Condition report:
The covers appear in good overall condition with no significant creasing, staining, or tears visible. The coins remain in brilliant uncirculated condition within their respective housings.
