Description
A figural money box designed by The Border Fine Arts Studios and licensed by Frederick Warne and Co. based on the classic illustrations by Beatrix Potter. The piece is crafted from painted resin and depicts the character Mrs. Rabbit tending to Peter Rabbit in bed. Mrs. Rabbit is shown wearing a blue dress and white apron, holding a bowl and spoon while leaning over a small rabbit tucked under a white blanket. The bed features a green headboard and a striped bed skirt. A horizontal coin slot is located on the back of the standing figure. The base retains its original plastic stopper and bears printed copyright information for Frederick Warne and Co. 1994, the model number 282820, and a China origin mark.
Condition report:
The item is in fair to good condition, showing visible surface grime and light wear consistent with age, particularly on the lighter-coloured areas.
