An antique aqua glass Codd-neck bottle featuring an internal glass marble seal. The bottle is constructed from thick, pale green glass and was designed for carbonated beverages. The front of the vessel is heavily embossed with the name SOUTHERN in an arch above a detailed pictorial representation of a multi-storey building. Below the image, the words CHEMIST and BELPER are inscribed. The glass contains characteristic small air bubbles throughout the body.
