Description
A pair of Capodimonte porcelain figurines depicted in 18th-century style pastoral attire. The male figure is shown wearing a dark tricorn hat, an ochre-coloured waistcoat over a frilled shirt, and blue breeches, while holding a basket of fruit. The female figure is dressed in a wide-brimmed pink hat, a blue lace-up bodice, and a full white and yellow skirt, also carrying a basket of flowers. Both figures are set on textured, grassy-mound circular bases.
Height: Approximately 12 inches
Condition report:
The items exhibit visible surface crazing and scattered paint loss consistent with age and use.
