Description
A vintage industrial counter beam scale and a group of cast iron weights. The scale is constructed with a painted cast metal frame and is fitted with a removable galvanised sheet metal scoop. The frame features a cast inscription reading TO WEIGH 14 LB. The accompanying group of graduated weights are hexagonal in form, cast from iron, and feature integrated ring handles. One weight is marked 5 KILO 5000G.

Condition report:
The items show an aged industrial character. Surface oxidation and rust are visible across the cast iron weights and the scale frame. The galvanised scoop exhibits general wear, pitting, and oxidation to the interior. The painted surface of the frame shows wear and loss consistent with age.
