Description
A trio of furniture items featuring a Pearl River manufactured upright piano, branded Niemeyer on the fallboard. The piano is finished in a high-gloss dark wood-tone casing with gilt lettering. The interior mechanism includes hammers, strings, and a soundboard of standard construction. Accompanying the piano is a matching bench with a coordinating dark wood finish and a tan-coloured, two-section upholstered seat. Also included is a vintage chest of drawers constructed with burl wood veneers and dark-patinated metal pull handles. The drawers are of solid wood construction.
Condition report:
The piano exterior finish is well-preserved with the interior components including hammers and strings appearing in good order. The piano bench shows minor surface marks to the upholstery. The chest of drawers exhibits age-appropriate wear, including minor losses and scuffs to the veneer, while the drawer interiors remain in clean condition.
