Description
An Ercol Chairmaker’s rocking chair, model 473, constructed from dark-stained solid wood. The chair features a high hoop-back with vertical spindles, out-swept armrests, and a shaped seat with visible grain. The piece is supported by a spindle underframe and mounted on twin rockers. This lot further includes a collection of items including framed stained-glass panels with stylized floral motifs, framed wall art, a Union Jack flag, and a small circular sign reading it’s a mod thing.
Condition report:
The rocking chair exhibits scuffing and wear to the finish on the rockers and armrest terminals, consistent with age and use. The accompanying collection of items shows various signs of wear and age.
