Description
A collection of glass vessels dating from the late 19th to early 20th century, including apothecary, medicine, and poison bottles. The group features examples in clear, aqua, and dark green glass in various cylindrical, rectangular, and faceted forms. Notable markings include a flat, ribbed bottle embossed LINCS and a small jar embossed VASELINE around the base. Several vessels exhibit vertical ribbing, a feature identified with antique poison bottles. The assortment includes examples with ground glass stoppers and others with moulded rims for cork closures.
Condition report:
The collection appears in used condition. Some bottles exhibit surface cloudiness, internal residue, and minor abrasions consistent with age and previous use.
