Description
A Weiss style costume jewellery brooch designed in a stylised paisley or teardrop form. The piece features an ornate gold-toned metal openwork frame with a textured filigree finish. The front is set with various-sized round faceted purple rhinestones in a scattered arrangement. The reverse displays a textured grid pattern and is equipped with a functional pin stem and safety catch mechanism. No maker marks or hallmarks are visible.
Condition report:
The item is in good overall condition with all stones present. The pin mechanism is in working order. Minor surface wear is visible to the metal finish on the reverse, consistent with age and use.
