Description
A Royal Worcester fine bone china figurine titled Pretty in Pink from the Children of the World series, produced in 1999 in support of UNICEF to celebrate the new millennium. The polychrome glazed figure depicts a young Black girl in a pale pink dress with lace-style trim, holding a basket of eggs with a small yellow bird perched on her shoulder. The figure stands on a circular base modelled as a grassy mound with small white flowers. The underside features the Royal Worcester and UNICEF backstamps, identifies the piece as a limited edition of 1000, and includes the printed signature of the modeller, Naomi Lanear. The item is marked Made in England and features a high-gloss finish.
Condition report:
The figurine is in good condition. There are no visible chips, cracks, or signs of restoration. The glazed surface retains a high-gloss finish.
