Description
A Royal Worcester fine bone china figurine titled Best Buddies from the Children of the World series, produced in 1999 to celebrate the millennium in support of UNICEF. The polychrome hand-painted piece depicts a young boy in a red sweater and purple shorts holding a ball aloft for a small white dog, set on a moulded green base. The underside displays the Royal Worcester backstamp, the UNICEF logo, and identifies the figurine as number 8 from a limited edition of 1000. The piece was modelled by Naomi Lawson and manufactured in England.
