Description
A collection of philatelic material comprising two stamp albums, a presentation folder, and various loose stamps. The albums contain 20th-century international issues, with visible pages dedicated to Great Britain and the Channel Islands, as well as India, including the Indian Expeditionary Force and Chinese Expeditionary Force. One album is bound in blue and the other in green. Also included is a magenta fabric-covered presentation folder titled The Guernsey Flower Collection. A quantity of loose stamps is housed within a clear plastic bag and a white paper envelope. The envelope is addressed to the Institute of Geology, Chinese Academy of Sciences (中国科学院地质研究所) in Beijing. The collection includes both cancelled and uncancelled examples from various global origins.
Condition report:
The collection is in mixed condition. Album pages show visible toning and wear consistent with age and use. Stamps exhibit typical handling wear, with some examples being cancelled. The paper envelope and plastic bag show creasing and wear.
