Description
A 20th-century still life oil painting on canvas by the artist M. Aaron. The composition depicts a traditional arrangement of fruit, including clusters of green and purple grapes, peaches, and plums, set upon a dark tabletop. The scene includes a glass of white wine and a footed ceramic compote holding further fruit. The work is signed M. Aaron in red script in the lower right corner. The canvas is secured to a wooden stretcher frame equipped with black plastic corner tensioning inserts and is housed in a dark-toned wooden frame with a gold-coloured inner fillet.
