Description
A vintage two-blade folding pocket knife manufactured by John Blyde of Sheffield, England. The item features an ivorine-coloured handle secured by three pins. The handle is engraved with the commemorative inscription 1867-A.W.-1937. The hand-forged steel blades are stamped at the tangs with JNO. BLYDE SHEFFIELD. The knife is accompanied by a brown leather slipcase with stitched edges.
Condition report:
The steel blades exhibit significant pitting and oxidation. The ivorine handle shows minor staining around the pins. The leather slipcase shows signs of wear and surface scuffing consistent with age.
