Description
A collection of various collectibles and postal ephemera. The lot includes two Royal Mail Mint Stamp presentation packs from the Gallantry and Football Legends series, alongside a commemorative first-day cover for the 1977 F.A. Charity Shield match between Manchester United and Liverpool, postmarked Wembley 13 August 1977. Also included is a decorative framed display housing three British coins: a 1951 half crown, a 1925 half penny, and an 1861 half penny. These coins are mounted on a red ground with printed text detailing their discovery in various locations such as a sash box and under floorboards. The collection further contains an embroidered silk greeting card with a floral design and the inscription To My Dear Sister, and a small brown leather pouch featuring an enamelled Isle of Man triskelion crest. The philatelic items are housed in protective plastic sleeves.
