Description
This collection of Philatelic Numismatic Covers consists of three commemorative sets issued by the Royal Mail and the Royal Mint. The first cover, titled The Royal Society Celebrating 350 Years, features a block of ten stamps depicting notable scientists and an inset silver-coloured commemorative coin, numbered 06987. The second cover, BBC The Sky at Night 50th Anniversary, includes celestial-themed stamps with Jodrell Bank postmarks and an inset gold-coloured medal depicting Sir Patrick Moore, numbered 07181. The third cover, One Hundred Years of Royal Navy Submarines, features four submarine-themed stamps postmarked at Gosport on 24 May 2001, with an inset gold-coloured commemorative medal, numbered 03918. Each item is presented in its original illustrated envelope with printed serial numbers and technical specifications.
Condition report:
