Description
A 1994 Bank of England tercentenary commemorative philatelic numismatic cover issued jointly by the Royal Mint and Royal Mail. The cover features a Brilliant Uncirculated £2 coin marking the 300th anniversary of the Bank of England (1694–1994). The philatelic components include four 1st class stamps depicting Queen Elizabeth II and a large central commemorative label featuring Britannia with the dates 1694 and 1994. The envelope design incorporates an ornate script title and a quill pen illustration. It is franked with a special postmark dated 27th JULY 1994 LONDON EC2. This example is individually numbered 11674 and includes the Royal Mint insignia and address.
Condition report:
Excellent condition. The cover is well-preserved with crisp edges and no visible foxing or staining. The coin remains securely housed in its original transparent blister.
