Description
A trio of commemorative presentation packs produced by Royal Mail and the Royal Mint, celebrating the work of sculptor Arnold Machin. The collection includes The Iconic Art of Arnold Machin: Celebrating Forty Years of Stamp Design (2007), The Iconic Art of Arnold Machin: Celebrating Forty Years of Coin Design (2008), and Design Icons by Arnold Machin: Coins and Stamps (2017). Each folder features Machin’s effigy of Queen Elizabeth II and contains a brilliant uncirculated commemorative medal or medallic coin inset into illustrated card covers. The sets are accompanied by corresponding postage stamps with relevant postmarks and detailed biographical information regarding Machin’s career. The items are individually numbered No. 01145, No. 02699, and No. 0877.
Condition report:
The items appear to be in excellent condition, preserved in their original presentation formats. The card covers show no signs of creasing or edge wear, and the medals remain securely housed in their original apertures.
