Description
A collection of Royal Mail Philatelic Numismatic Covers (PNCs) featuring various commemorative themes. The group includes 150 Years of Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland (2015), Dinosaurs: Fossil Reptiles from the UK (2013), Battersea Dogs and Cats Home 150 Years (2010), and Classic Children’s TV Smallfilms (2014). Each set comprises a themed presentation folder or envelope housing a series of coordinated Royal Mail postage stamps and an inset commemorative medal or coin. The Alice in Wonderland cover features stamps with illustrations by Rebecca Sutherland and is cancelled with a first-day-of-issue postmark from Oxford dated 5 March 2015. The Smallfilms cover is marked with the unique number 6666, and the Dinosaurs cover is marked with the unique number 6787. The Battersea Dogs and Cats Home cover commemorates the period 1860 to 2010.
Condition report:
The collection is in excellent, well-preserved condition. All items are housed in their original philatelic packaging with no visible signs of wear, creasing, or toning to the envelopes. The inset medals remain bright and free from oxidation.
