Description
An assortment of natural history specimens and organic objects. The collection includes a large abalone shell with an iridescent nacreous interior, a weathered oyster shell, and a variety of mineral specimens including a geode fragment with internal crystalline structures, a large dark stone with white orbicular spotting, and several coral pieces. The lot also contains botanical elements such as a section of tree bark with yellow lichen and a small circular wood segment. The items are presented within a blue and white striped paperboard box, the interior rim of which features repeating printed text including the word SOCIAL.
Condition report:
The collection is in fair to good condition. Items exhibit natural surface textures, weathering, and minor wear consistent with organic and mineral specimens. The paperboard box shows some minor edge wear.
