Description
A collection of commemorative items produced to honour the R.M.S. Titanic, comprising a gold-plated rectangular bar, a gold-plated round medallion, and a silver-plated coin. The rectangular bar is inscribed Tragedy of the Titanic and In Memory of Titanic Victims, with a depiction of the ship and the date April 15, 1912 on the reverse. The gold-plated round medallion features the ship technical specifications and an image of the grand staircase, while the reverse depicts the ship as The World’s Largest Liner for the White Star Line. The silver-plated piece is a 2012 commemorative coin from Tuvalu, featuring the profile of Queen Elizabeth II on the obverse and a 100 Year Anniversary (1912-2012) design of the R.M.S. Titanic on the reverse. All items are presented in individual protective clear plastic capsules.
