Description
A pair of figural cast brass candelabra in the French Empire style, identified as the Lumière model. Each piece depicts a soldier in classical-style armour holding two candle cups aloft. The figures feature detailed relief work on the breastplates and helmets, standing upon circular domed bases with scrolled decorative borders. Each arm terminates in a scalloped bobeche and a flared candle cup. The items are constructed from cast brass with a natural aged finish.
Condition report:
The items exhibit a natural aged patina with some minor surface wear and oxidation throughout, consistent with age and use.
