Description
A trio of British philatelic numismatic covers comprising commemorative coins and integrated postage stamps. The collection features a 2007 Diamond Wedding Anniversary commemorative coin cover celebrating the 60th wedding anniversary of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, displaying a photographic wedding portrait, a dual-portrait commemorative coin, and Westminster postmarks. The lot further includes two Royal Mint 1985 Brilliant Uncirculated Welsh £1 Coin First Day of Issue covers, both postmarked Llantrisant and dated 22 April 1985. These covers feature botanical illustrations of a leek and a daffodil respectively, with each housing a brilliant uncirculated Welsh £1 coin.
Condition report:
The items are in good condition. The 1985 covers are preserved within their original plastic protective sleeves. Light handling wear is visible to the 2007 cover consistent with age.
