Description
A collection of vintage cast brass horse brasses and commemorative medallions. The group includes several circular brasses designed as wagon wheels, featuring the cast text ASHFIELD alongside various years including 1969, 1981, 1982, and 1984. Also included are smaller brasses of various traditional designs, featuring a fleur-de-lis, equestrian motifs within horseshoes, a sunburst pattern, and a heraldic lion. A prominent vertical commemorative item celebrates the royal wedding of Prince Charles and Lady Diana on July 29th 1981; it is topped with a crown and bells above a central heart with commemorative text and linked horseshoes, terminating in a spoon-shaped bowl. All pieces are cast in brass.

Condition report:
The collection exhibits a natural patina, surface oxidation, and wear commensurate with age. There are minor surface scratches and varying degrees of tarnish across the pieces. Some examples feature small pre-drilled holes for mounting.
