Description
A collection of British bronze pennies dating from the reign of King Edward VII, spanning the years 1902 to 1910. Each coin is struck in bronze and features the uncrowned profile of the monarch on the obverse, surrounded by the inscription EDWARDVS VII DEI GRA: BRITT: OMN: REX FID: DEF: IND: IMP:. The reverse of each piece depicts the seated figure of Britannia with a trident and shield. The group is presented in a clear plastic multi-pocket protective sleeve and includes a handwritten paper insert identifying the lot as an Edward VII Set 1902-1910 Key Dates.
