Description
A Lovatt’s Langley Ware stoneware hot water foot warmer, also referred to as a bed warmer. The vessel is constructed from buff-coloured glazed stoneware and features a cylindrical body with a flattened side designed for stable placement. One end is finished with a moulded grip. The piece is equipped with a side-mounted filler neck, secured by a white screw-top cap and a black rubber washer. Decorative moulded detail radiates from the base of the filler neck. The glaze exhibits a characteristic finish typical of late 19th or early 20th-century English stoneware production.
