Description
A vintage Davos wooden sledge featuring a traditional slatted-seat design with five longitudinal boards. The central slat is impressed with the Davos maker’s mark. The item is constructed from hardwood with curved runners and features black metal reinforcements on the front tips and a matching black metal crossbar. A length of braided light-coloured rope is attached to the front for towing.
Condition report:
The sledge remains in good structural condition. The wood displays an aged finish with a patina and shows signs of minor surface wear, including scuffs and abrasions consistent with regular use.
