Description
A Raleigh Chopper MK3 retro bicycle in red. This model is a 2004 reissue of the classic 1970s design, featuring the Arrowwedge twin top-tube frame construction. The bicycle is equipped with high-rise ape hanger handlebars, a padded black saddle with a tall spring-mounted sissy bar, and unequal-sized wheels consisting of a larger rear wheel and a smaller front wheel. It retains the iconic top-tube mounted gear shifter and is adorned with yellow Raleigh and Chopper decals. The frame includes Arrowwedge branding on the upper tubes.
Condition report:
The bicycle shows visible signs of outdoor storage and use. There is significant surface rust present on the chain, crankset, and seat springs. The red paintwork exhibits various scuffs, scratches, and minor areas of loss throughout the frame. One handlebar grip is missing. The unit requires a thorough cleaning and a full mechanical safety inspection before use.
