Description
A brass oil lamp of traditional form, featuring a circular tiered pedestal base supporting a bulbous reservoir. The reservoir is equipped with a screw-top filler cap and a brass burner assembly with a mechanical wick adjuster. The lamp is fitted with a tall, slender clear glass chimney of hurricane form. The burner shows evidence of previous use with charred wick remnants present.
Height: Approximately 32cm
Condition report:
The piece exhibits a natural aged patina with areas of surface tarnish and minor abrasions consistent with age. The glass chimney is in good structural condition with no observed chips or cracks. The burner mechanism appears functional.
