Description
An antique guitar zither harp, likely dating from the late 19th to early 20th century. The instrument is constructed with a wooden body featuring a natural-finish soundboard and a dark-stained reverse. It is fitted with multiple metal strings across a series of metal tuning pins. A decorative, illustrated paper label is affixed across the lower section, displaying musical notation, lettered scales, and numbered guides for the strings. A central circular sound hole is present, containing a partially visible internal manufacturer’s label.
Condition report:
The instrument shows signs of age and use, including surface scuffing and scratches, which are most prominent on the reverse. There is visible wear to the wooden edges. Several strings are missing or loose.
