Description
A Clarice Cliff ceramic ring-shaped planter or posy trough produced by Newport Pottery Co. The piece is finished in a pale cream glaze with light green accents and features an embossed texture resembling masonry or brickwork. The underside is marked with the designer’s facsimile signature, the manufacturer’s stamp for Newport Pottery Co England, and the model number 840.
Condition report:
The item is in good overall condition, showing minor surface wear and small localised discolourations on the rim. There is expected shelf wear to the unglazed feet on the underside.
