Description
Two British military cap badges. The first is a Royal Engineers beret cap badge of bi-metal construction, featuring the EIIR cypher within a garter bearing the motto HONI SOIT QUI MAL Y PENSE, surrounded by a wreath and surmounted by a crown, with a scroll at the base inscribed ROYAL ENGINEERS. The second is a George VI era Military Police badge, constructed from a gold-toned metal, featuring the GVIR royal cypher within a laurel wreath, surmounted by a crown, and resting above a scroll inscribed MILITARY POLICE. Both items are fitted with vertical sliders to the reverse for attachment.
