Description
A 1900 United States Morgan silver dollar. The obverse features the left-facing profile of Liberty wearing a coronet inscribed LIBERTY, surrounded by thirteen stars, the motto E PLURIBUS UNUM, and the date 1900. The reverse depicts a heraldic eagle with outspread wings holding an olive branch and three arrows, encircled by a wreath. Inscriptions include UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, In God We Trust, and the denomination ONE DOLLAR. This specimen was struck at the Philadelphia Mint, as indicated by the absence of a mint mark above the letter O in DOLLAR. The coin is composed of 90 per cent silver and 10 per cent copper.
