Description
A cast bronze figurine depicting Shoulao, the Chinese God of Longevity. The figure is rendered in a traditional standing posture, featuring a characteristic high forehead, long beard, and flowing robes. The deity holds a peach in his right hand and a staff with a dragon-head finial in his left. A circular shou symbol is visible in relief on the upper back of the figure. The surface is characterised by a heavy, green verdigris patina throughout.
