Description
This Isle of Man Post Office official stamp and coin cover, titled Christmas 1991, features a set of four postage stamps with denominations of 16p, 20p, 26p, and 37p. The stamps depict stylised nativity silhouettes in purple, red, green, and blue, based on paper sculpture designs. The cover is cancelled with two black First Day of Issue postmarks from Douglas, Isle of Man, dated 1991. A large silver-tone graphic of a trumpeting angel is positioned on the left side of the envelope. An encapsulated Isle of Man Christmas 50p coin, featuring a nativity scene on the reverse, is inset on the lower right. The item is identified at the bottom as Official Stamp and Coin Cover (No. 4).
