Description
A Disney musical snow globe featuring the character Mickey Mouse as the Sorcerer’s Apprentice from the film *Fantasia*. The item is constructed of a glass globe set upon a heavy, moulded resin base. The central globe contains a resin figure of Mickey Mouse standing on a platform surrounded by blue waves, filled with water and iridescent glitter/confetti. The base is sculpted and painted to depict the flooding scene, featuring turbulent blue water and four animated brooms carrying buckets around the perimeter. The underside features a manual wind-up music mechanism. A warning label confirms the tune name as “The Sorcerer’s Apprentice” and notes that the music movement was “Made in Japan.” The base is lined with felt and supported by four plastic feet.
