Description
A single table lamp featuring two hand-carved hardwood figural supports mounted on a rectangular, light-coloured wooden plank base. The style is consistent with Caribbean or Haitian folk art. The figures depict a male drummer playing a tall drum and a female figure carrying a vessel or bundle atop her head. The central lamp standard consists of a metal shaft rising to a shallow metal bowl fixture and terminating in a standard socket receiver. Visible metal hardware underneath the base includes a black flange marked with raised lettering 08 and AP14. The carvings exhibit deep, rustic tool marks typical of the style.
