Description
A single figurative sculpture attributed to Grant Palmer, titled ‘Views of Life’ with the subtitle ‘We’ve come a long way’. The piece is executed in painted composite ceramic or resin material, rendered in an exaggerated, folk-art style. The sculpture depicts an elderly couple seated hand-in-hand on a log bench. The man is shown wearing a flat cap, and the woman holds an ice cream cone. The surface features textured detailing and is painted in muted tones including tan, cream, brown, and light blue. The base of the sculpture is covered with a brown felt backing.
