Description
A 1999 United Kingdom silver proof one pound coin struck in 925 silver. The reverse design features the heraldic lion rampant within a double tressure flory counter-flory, representing Scotland, as part of the series of four designs representing the constituent parts of the United Kingdom. The coin is housed in its original clear plastic protective capsule and presented in a blue Royal Mint case with a black velvet-lined interior. The set is accompanied by the original Certificate of Authenticity mounted within the lid of the presentation box.
