Description
A British commemorative crown issued in 1972 to mark the 25th wedding anniversary of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip. The coin is struck in 925 silver. The obverse features the effigy of Queen Elizabeth II by Arnold Machin, encircled by the inscription ELIZABETH II D G REG F D. The reverse displays a crowned monogram of EP amidst floral decorations, surrounded by the legend ELIZABETH AND PHILIP 20 NOVEMBER 1947-1972. The item is presented in its original green textured case with a green velvet-lined interior and includes an informational insert titled The Crown.
