Description
This commemorative coin cover was issued by The Westminster Collection Ltd to mark the Golden Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II in 2002. The set features a 925 silver five pound crown coin. The obverse of the coin depicts the Queen on horseback with the inscription Elizabeth II Dei Gra Regina Fid Def, while the reverse bears the inscription Amor Populi Praesidium Reg and the date 2002. The coin is presented within a clear circular window alongside a series of postage stamps postmarked for London SW1 on 4 June 2002. The assembly includes a narrative sheet detailing the Jubilee events, signed by Chairman Stephen R. Allen. This specific example is numbered 0099 from a limited edition of 2,000. The entire set is housed in a blue presentation folder.
