Description

An Edwardian folding fruit knife featuring a 925 silver blade and polished mother-of-pearl handle scales. The blade is struck with a set of Sheffield hallmarks, including the crown, lion passant, the date letter m for 1904, and the maker mark AL for Arthur Ledger. The iridescent mother-of-pearl handle is decorated with carved indentations along its edges and contains a small, blank rectangular silver-toned inset on one side. The scales are secured by metal pins and the knife features a rounded, decorated bolster.
