Description
This hand-carved wooden walking cane features a figural handle depicting a sporting motif of a reclining dog positioned over a smaller prey animal, likely a bird. The handle includes a decorative lower section with carved foliate and twisted-rope patterns, transitioning into a naturalistic wooden shaft. The shaft is characterised by prominent branch nubs and a polished dark-brown finish. A thin metal collar connects the handle to the shaft, and a second, wider metal band is affixed further down the length of the cane. No visible markings or text are present.
