Description
An Edwardian sterling silver watch chain fob featuring a central unengraved shield-shaped plaque with a gold-wash finish. The shield is set within an openwork frame comprising laurel wreaths and foliate scrolls. The reverse is stamped with British hallmarks for Birmingham including the lion passant and anchor alongside the date letter k for 1909. It also bears the maker’s mark W.J.D for William James Dingley and the registered design number RD 505710. The item includes a jump ring for suspension.
