Description
A 1980 Royal Mint proof coin set titled The Coinage of Great Britain & Northern Ireland. The collection consists of United Kingdom decimal coins including the fifty new pence, ten new pence, five new pence, two new pence, and one new penny denominations. Each coin displays a high-lustre proof finish and is secured within a clear plastic protective display case. The interior of the case features a small golden emblem inscribed Elizabeth R 1980 below a crown. The set is housed in its original textured purple presentation box which bears the collection title in gold-toned script.
