Description
A set of proof coins issued by the Royal Mint to commemorate the silver wedding anniversary of Queen Elizabeth II and HRH Prince Philip (1947-1972). The collection includes coins in silver-toned and gold-toned metals, each featuring the profile of Queen Elizabeth II on the obverse. The coins are housed within a clear acrylic display case against a bright blue insert. The set is presented in its original blue textured folder with gold-embossed lettering reading COINAGE OF GREAT BRITAIN & NORTHERN IRELAND 1972. The folder includes an inscription stating the set was specially struck at the Royal Mint to commemorate the royal anniversary.
