Description
A collection of mid-20th-century British paper banknotes presented in a black collector’s album with clear plastic sleeves. The group includes Bank of England one-pound notes featuring the portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, including the Series D issue which features Sir Isaac Newton on the reverse. Identified examples include a note with serial number 80A 938574 signed by J.B. Page and another with serial number N53J 387814 signed by J.S. Fforde. The collection also contains a reddish-brown Bank of England ten-shilling note, serial number 34Z 395873, and a green one-pound note issued by The Royal Bank of Scotland Limited, dated 1 May 1980, with serial number B/83 906233.
