Description
This numismatic collection comprises an assortment of loose British coinage alongside two commemorative sets. The loose coins are contained within a striped cardboard box and include various decimal and pre-decimal denominations struck in copper-plated steel, bronze, and cupro-nickel. The assembly features a framed United Kingdom Crowns set containing five large-format commemorative coins dated between 1965 and 1981, including the Winston Churchill and 1977 Silver Jubilee issues. Also included is a Britain’s First Decimal Coins set issued by the Royal Mint, housed in its original blue vinyl folder with a clear plastic insert and descriptive historical text regarding the 1971 currency transition.
