Description
A collection of Wade porcelain animal figurines, featuring a larger tortoise and various miniature creatures. The group includes depictions of owls, a cow, a koala, and a monkey, among others. Each piece is finished in characteristic multi-tonal glazes of brown, green, and cream. The larger tortoise, identified in market context as a trinket box, features an impressed mark to the underside reading WADE PORCELAIN MADE IN ENGLAND alongside a small character mark. These mid-20th-century decorative miniatures are typical of the Wade Whimsies range.
