Description
This lot features a highly polished brass or gold-tone carriage clock manufactured by the London Clock Co. The design is characteristic of classic 20th-century French carriage clocks, featuring a rectangular body and a hinged, ribbed carrying handle. The white dial displays time using clear black Roman numerals (I-XII) and includes a central minute track. Time is indicated by a set of blue/black hour and minute hands. A key feature is the visible mechanical escapement, which is observable through a glass window set into the top of the casing. The clock is presented in its original brown cardboard presentation box, securely nestled within a custom-cut light blue/mint foam insert.
